Mini Review: "It's a Yuletide Miracle, Charlie Brown"

By now, I'm a Stephanie Perkins super fan. I think her writing is adorable, and I love the characters and stories that she creates. "It's a Yuletide Miracle, Charlie Brown" is just that - adorable and perfection at its finest.

"It's a Yuletide Miracle, Charlie Brown" is a romance story, and its two main characters, Marigold and North complement each other so perfectly. I never felt like I had to question their attraction toward one another, and I liked their banter. Marigold is quirky and North is a bit more sensible, but together, these two make an excellent pair. They are able to bond and realize that the most important part of being a human is not who you are or where you're from, but what your spirit is like on the inside.

Like other stories in My True Love Gave to Me, this one by Jenny Han gives readers a message and really puts you in the mood for Christmas. My only complaint about this one was that it was just too short. I would love a full-length novel about Marigold and North.

Stephanie Perkins is the internationally bestselling author of the Anna and the French Kiss trilogy, which includes Anna and the French Kiss, Lola and the Boy Next Door, and Isla and the Happily Ever After. She lives with her husband in Asheville, North Carolina.
